We embarked on our journey to Wisconsin like in our last trip, with the tandem loaded on the back of our truck. Our farewell party was there to see us off. One in the picture is probably happy to see us go and the other is probably distressed to see us leave. Wanna guess which one is happy & which one is distressed?

Feeding time for Wade

It was decided that our route to Milwaukee would be through Indianapolis so that we could make a pit stop and visit our dear son, Wade. We also fed him. A tradition that still continues!

Getting to see my dear friend again!

After some stop and go traffic through Chicago and Milwaukee, we arrived at our starting destination - the Verhoffs. Carol & I took a similar picture like the one we took when we first arrived while visiting them in China.

They spoiled us again with a delicious salmon dinner on their back patio. Of course, we just keep coming back 💕

Tony's Extras

We got the bicycle unloaded and the tires pumped up. We will put the bags on tomorrow and take off. I texted our good friends, Eric and Ann Marie Baumgartner, to see if they were willing to go out to eat with us when we get back to Milwaukee and they said "yes." The interesting part is that of all the places they could buy a house in the Milwaukee area, they just bought a house a couple doors down from Carol and Clyde. Wow! What a small world!
