Blessings to be thankful for on this trip:
  • Matt for getting a chain roller shipped to a bike shop in
  • Meeting and talking to so many kind people.
  • Injury free trip except for some minor scrapes when the pedals hit Tony's legs, and the scrapes from the bridge that we clipped.
  • Finding a bike shop that repaired our fairing bracket.
  • The people that prayed for us before & during our ride.
  • The thousands of smiles, waves, high-fives, thumbs ups, positive comments from all the great people along the way.
  • Wade, Linda, A.J., Santi, Rafi & Roxy for Luna sitting.
  • Cara, Nick, Luke, Todd, Scott, Jane & Jude for house & garden sitting.
  • Wade & AJ for transporting us to and from the airport.
  • Our children and grandchildren for video chatting with us to allow us to check in with grandkids, especially for Grandma/Oma.
  • The faithful readers of this blog that give Tony the incentive to keep doing his half even when he really just wants to go to bed.

We were greeted by this wonderful sign at the airport in Indianapolis. Our uber driver (Wade) fell putting AJ to bed, but luckily woke up in time to pick us up around 9:00 pm. Only 2 of our 3 bags made it. The one remained in Toronto. We eventually got it shipped to us on Sept 11.
