Day 1 - Copenhagen, Denmark, Oops it Happened Again
Joan's View
Our trip started with this wonderful Indianapolis Schroeder Uber service. Air Canada flights all on time through Toronto and to Copenhagen. However, Tony started watching the bags after leaving Toronto and, oops, it happened again. We have a bike bag still in Toronto! 😤 Here we go again, folks!
We started a lost baggage case in the airport. After getting a little help from the guy at the Metro ticket kiosks, we lugged the heavy, bulky bags that we had on the Metro through elevators, and a few escalators even. Our 2 checked bags that made it from Toronto weigh the maximum allowed, and each of our carryons contain the heavy lithium batteries since they are not allowed in a plane cargo hold. On top of that we have our personal items, and mine is at maximum capacity. 😁

Since Tony is the only one with international service again, we waited to call Air Canada about the bags until we got to the Airbnb. They actually called back even if it was while we eating at Cafe Svejk. Looks like Tony will be heading back to the airport tomorrow to get the bag if it makes the flight tonight. Per the customer rep, baggage delivery is unpredictable here in Copenhagen too. Tony got his first Danish big beer at Cafe Svejk though. 🍻
Tony's Extras
Well, Puthoff got his wish. He said I hope Tony's Luggage gets lost again to everyone at Choice One.It makes the blog more interesting. 😡 Unbelievable, It is me checking if the luggage gets on the plane at 3:00am here and if we are lucky, I get to go back to the airport tomorrow and pick it up. If it doesn't show up tomorrow, things really start getting interesting and complicated. Hopefully we will have good news tomorrow.
