DRIVING TO THE FINGER LAKES

Joan's View

We left Sidney this afternoon for our next fun tandem adventure. Guess who jumped into the truck wanting to go along.

Luna making a fast move.
After Marla helping get Luna out of the truck, we spent the afternoon eating cherries and driving to Lockport, NY, where we will leave for the first leg of our trip tomorrow morning. A late night mighty quick dinner at a new Mexican restaurant for Tony, and we all know he likes Mexican. 😋

We plan to bicycle over 400 miles during our 10 days of riding. Love meeting all the people and new places!

Tony's Extra

Well, here we go again.  I hope all the planning that goes into a trip like this turns out, at least most of the time.  Tomorrow, I actually have two routes planned out in case the Erie Canal Trail isn't as developed as it seemed in Google Street View.  The other route is about 5 miles longer but stays on back roads.  We will report tomorrow which route we used (may end up using both).  I just hope we don't get lost. You all might lose confidence in my navigation. Just a comment for Wade, been eating a lot of cherries and you know what that does to me.
